- Parinibbana Sutta (SN 6.15) — Total Unbinding. Four eyewitness accounts of the passing away of the Buddha.
- Jata Sutta (SN 7.6) — The Tangle. Jata Bharadvaja asks the Buddha his famous question, "Who can untangle this tangle [of craving]?" The Buddha's concise answer prompts Jata Bharadvaja's conversion and, ultimately, his attainment of arahantship.

- [16 Feb 1998] Practice group and Dhamma center listings have moved to DharmaNet
- Barry Kapke, director of DharmaNet International, has generously offered to take over the management of Access to Insight's listings of Theravada meditation groups and Dhamma centers. The most current Theravada listings — as well as many other listings from other Buddhist traditions — may now be found in DharmaNet's Buddhist InfoWeb resource. Please send your updates and corrections directly to DharmaNet, using DharmaNet's on-line form . Effective March 1, 1998, the listings will be removed from Access to Insight.

- Access to Insight's directories of Theravada meditation groups and Dhamma centers will soon be moving to DharmaNet International . Watch this space for further details!
- I have begun the groundwork of putting together a CD-ROM of much of the material currently available in the pages of Access to Insight. This CD-ROM will be available for free distribution. If you have any experience producing multi-platform CD-ROMs and would be interested in providing technical advice for this project, please let me know.
